Rob's Writing Featured in New Book

We are extremely excited to announce Rob's writing "Smaller Than an Animal's Cage" has been featured within the brand new book from the wonderfully talented, Sarah Derat.

Born in 1984, Sarah Derat is the first laureate of the artist-in-residence program of the Pavillon des Indes in Courbevoie, born of an ambitious partnership between the City of Courbevoie and the Beaux-Arts de Paris. This book features photographs of the pieces produced during the residency, along with a commentary by the art critic Anaël Pigeat, editor in chief of Art Press magazine, as well as a correspondence between the artist and the Canadian curator Ashlee Conery. In it, Sarah Derat explains her creative process and the issues she raises through each sculpture. Her correspondence allows us to further understand the artistic reflection she carried out over the eighteen months of the residency at the Pavillon des Indes.

This is what Sarah had to say about the book launch:

"I am very proud to share with you this brand new publication dedicated to my 18 months Residency at Le Pavillon des Indes.

It features a preamble by Nicolas Bourriaud, a beautiful text written by the excellent Anaël Pigeat, a correspondence between the very talented curator Ashlee Conery and myself, an amazing text written by Rob Will, a Texas death row inmate currently fighting to prove his innocence and loads of beautiful pictures thanks to Isabelle Arthuis, Sarah Feuillas and Kathleen Finlay and Yann Rossignol."
